Kashmir Pilgrimage Tour

Arrive Srinagar. Transfer to hotel. After rest, visit Shankaracharya Temple — one of India's oldest Shiva temples, believed to date to 250 BC, perched on a hilltop with panoramic Dal Lake views. Evening visit to Hazratbal Shrine. Early dinner and overnight.

Morning visit to Kheer Bhawani Temple (90 km from Srinagar) — a sacred spring temple dedicated to goddess Ragnya Bhagwati, one of the most important Hindu shrines in Kashmir. Return to Srinagar, then drive to Pahalgam (2.5 hrs). Check in. Yatra route briefing by guide.

Important rest day at Pahalgam (2,740m) before the high-altitude trek. Light walks by the Lidder River. Medical check. Arrange pony / doli for tomorrow. Early dinner and early bed (5am start).

Early start. Drive to Chandanwari (16 km), official yatra start point. Begin ascent on foot, pony, or doli via Pissu Top to Sheshnag Lake (3,590m) — a sacred high-altitude glacial lake believed to be the resting place of Lord Shiva's serpent.

Pre-dawn start. Ascend via Mahagunas Top (4,890m) to the sacred Amarnath Cave (3,888m). Receive darshan of the natural ice Shivalinga. Descend to Baltal and drive to Pahalgam. Rest and celebrate.

Morning at leisure. After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Transfer to airport for onward journey.
