These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between iC Kashmir(βweβ, βusβ, βourβ) and you (βtravelerβ, βclientβ, βyouβ) in connection with the booking and provision of tour and travel services. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or confirming a booking with iC Kashmir, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you confirm that all members of the group have agreed to these terms and that you are authorized to make decisions on their behalf.
These terms apply to all services provided by iC Kashmir including but not limited to tour packages, hotel bookings, car rentals, and customized itineraries.
Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when:
- You have submitted a completed booking form or confirmed via call/WhatsApp
- The required advance payment has been received by us
- We have sent you a written confirmation (email or WhatsApp message)
Until all three conditions are met, the booking remains tentative and prices or availability may change. iC Kashmir reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion without providing a reason.
It is your responsibility to verify that all details in the booking confirmation (names, dates, package inclusions) are correct. Any errors must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the confirmation.
Payment Terms
Our standard payment schedule is as follows:
- Advance Deposit (25β30%): Due at the time of booking confirmation to secure your reservation.
- Balance Payment (70β75%): Due no later than 7 days before the start of your tour.
- Full Payment: For bookings made within 7 days of departure, 100% payment is required upfront.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer, UPI, or other mutually agreed methods. All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until the booking is confirmed with advance payment.
Any applicable government taxes (GST) will be added to the quoted price unless explicitly stated as inclusive.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges apply based on the number of days before your tour departure date:

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@ickashmir.in. The date of cancellation is the date on which we receive your written notice.
Note: Certain bookings involving peak season dates, special events, Amarnath Yatra, or non-refundable third-party bookings (flights, permits, etc.) may have stricter cancellation terms which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Changes to Bookings
Changes by You
If you wish to amend your booking (change of dates, number of travelers, itinerary modifications), please contact us as early as possible. Amendment requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.
Changes by Us
iC Kashmir reserves the right to make necessary alterations to your itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, road closures, natural calamities, or operational reasons. In such cases, we will provide a suitable alternative of equal or higher value. If no suitable alternative is available, a proportionate refund will be offered.
Traveler Responsibilities
As a traveler booking with iC Kashmir, you are responsible for:
- Valid documents: Ensuring you hold valid government-issued ID, permits (e.g., Inner Line Permit for Ladakh), and any other required documentation.
- Health & fitness: Ensuring you are medically fit for the activities included in your chosen package, especially adventure treks or high-altitude tours.
- Travel insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. iC Kashmir is not responsible for costs arising from lack of insurance.
- Behavior: Maintaining respectful behavior toward local communities, guides, drivers, and other travelers. iC Kashmir reserves the right to terminate a tour without refund for seriously disruptive behavior.
- Accurate information: Providing accurate information at the time of booking. We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by you.
Limitation of Liability
iC Kashmir acts as a tour organizer and coordinator. While we take every care to ensure the quality and safety of our services, our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for personal injury, illness, death, loss of baggage, or property damage unless caused directly by our proven negligence.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, transport operators).
- Our maximum liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific tour package.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Force Majeure
iC Kashmir shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, landslides, avalanches)
- Acts of terrorism, war, or civil unrest
- Government actions, travel advisories, or border closures
- Pandemics, epidemics, or health emergencies
- Strikes, bandhs, or transport disruptions
- Extreme weather conditions rendering travel unsafe
In force majeure situations, we will make every effort to reschedule your tour or provide a credit note for future travel. Refunds in such circumstances are subject to recovery from third-party suppliers and may be partial.
Complaints & Disputes
If you have a complaint during your tour, please bring it to the attention of your tour guide or our office immediately so we can resolve it promptly. Complaints raised after return from the tour are difficult to investigate and resolve.
For unresolved complaints, please write to us at info@ickashmir.in within 14 days of returning from your tour with full details.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
