Classic Kashmir Valley Tour

Arrive at Srinagar Airport. Met by our driver and transferred to Dal Lake. Check in to your traditional Kashmiri houseboat — your floating palace for the next two nights. Enjoy a one-hour Shikara ride through the lake's floating gardens and lotus beds, watching the mountains reflect in the calm water. Evening at leisure on the lake. Dinner and overnight on houseboat.

Morning visit to the magnificent Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Afternoon guided walk through Srinagar's Old City — visit Jama Masjid, the Shah Hamdan Shrine, and the bustling Maharaj Gunj market. Shopping opportunity for Pashmina shawls, saffron, and Kashmiri dry fruits. Dinner and overnight on houseboat.

After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (55 km / 1.5 hrs). Check in to hotel. Board the Gulmarg Gondola for a ride to Kongdoori (Phase 1, 3,050m) and Apharwat Peak (Phase 2, 3,980m). The views from the top across the Kashmir Valley are extraordinary. Afternoon free to explore the meadows. Evening bonfire and Kashmiri kahwa. Overnight in Gulmarg.

Morning drive to Pahalgam (130 km / 3 hrs) via Srinagar. Arrive and check in. Afternoon excursion to Betaab Valley — this stunning valley of forests, meadows, and crystal streams is one of Kashmir's most photogenic spots. Optional visit to Aru Valley. Evening by the Lidder River. Overnight in Pahalgam.

Morning at leisure — optional Baisaran visit by pony. After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar (100 km / 2.5 hrs). Transfer to airport for onward flight. Tour ends with warm memories of Kashmir's timeless beauty.
